2016 Regional Wedding Accessory Designer of the Year | TWIA

Mia Monica was crowned 'East Midlands Accessory Designer of the Year' at The 2016 Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA). 

After winning the award, wedding designer and creative director Monica commented " I am both over the moon and honoured to have won such a title. The talent from the East Midlands was exceptionally high and to be recognised as one of the best suppliers within the industry is truly incredible. I absolutely love being a part of the Wedding Industry and working so closely with brides-to-be who expect the very best for their special day.  From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank everyone who voted, the Judges and all of my followers. This year has been quite a journey and to end it with this recognition is absolutely fantastic.”

The East Midlands regional event took place at The Granary Hotel in Fawsley near Daventry, a beautiful countryside wedding venue. The sold-out event attracted over 200 wedding suppliers from across the region from bridal designers to florists, photographers to transport. There were 24 awards in total presented by Damian Bailey, founder of the TWIA awards to the regional winners from each category live on stage. Regional winners were presented with the famous TWIA badge of honour and a glass trophy, custom made by Cutture London.

The Wedding Industry Awards are the only client-voted regional and national awards in the wedding industry and the judging panel is second to none in its breadth and depth of expertise and experience.
